The passion and fire of Spanish Dance and Flamenco is here! Direct from Madrid in his Los Angeles premiere performance, Vida Flamenca presents internationally acclaimed dancer Daniel Ramos brings his fearless, transcendent power to Danza Espanola and Flamenco at the acoustically exquisite Broad Stage in Santa Monica for one night only Saturday, June 24 at 8:00 p.m.

Thrilling audiences for over 12 years, our Festival Cumbre Flamenca continues to present vibrant, powerhouse programming. This year our inspired program showcases two Spanish dance treasures; the intoxicating blend of lush Spanish harmonies featuring the balletic Danza Clasica and Escuela Bolera juxtaposed with the ferociously complex rhythms of Flamenco dance featuring critically acclaimed rising stars from both Spain and the US.

Performing with dancer Ramos is the spirited Jerez de la Frontera-born singer/dancer Miguel Angel Heredia, the brilliant and much lauded guitarist from Alicante Yerai Cortes, and delivering deeply moving bravura performances, Barcelona-born singer Francisco Orozco, El Yiyi. Joining the Spanish artists is the captivating dancer Lakshmi Basile, La Chimi from San Diego, and back by popular demand dancers Daniela & Ryan Zermeno, and the celebrated dancers from the Zermeno Dance Academy, Santa Barbara.

Join us for a perfect start to any summer evening with a delicious pre-show reception event. Enjoy an early Paella cooking demonstration on the Broad Stage Plaza with Chef Roger Navas-Balladares of Savory Roads Catering featuring two tantalizing paellas from 6-6:30 pm. Continue with our signature Spanish Tapas reception offering a mouthwatering assortment of authentic Tapas from 6:30-7:30 pm. Offered as a discounted package with VIP seating or with separate add on purchase to any seat level. Space is limited, buy early, mingle, and enjoy a savory two-fold celebration of Spanish culture and cuisine.

Chef Roger Navas-Balladares from Savory Roads Catering demonstrates the art , technique and secrets for a perfect paella. Watch as he discusses the rice you use, the size of the pan, the temperature of the stock, when you add it, and amount of liquid required. Then enjoy a tasting of one of the most popular dishes from Spain. Directly following our Paella demonstration, join us for our highly anticipated Tapas reception with an array of signature tapas, and small bites. Full Reception: 6-7:30pm
