Mariachi Vargas De Tecalitlán is a Mexican folk ensemble of mariachi music created in 1897 by Gaspar Vargas. From 1950 it has been under the artistic guidance of Rubén Fuentes. The group's musical direction had been the responsibility of Don Jose "Pepe" Martínez from 1975 to around 2013-14. Now the ensemble is under the direction of Carlos Martínez (ex-director of Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlan).

Lupita Infante, is a Mexican American singer-songwriter and the granddaughter of the iconic Pedro Infante — Mexico’s most beloved singer and actor from the golden age of Mexican cinema — is part of an emerging generation of contemporary artists working to remake ranchera traditions for Millennial and Gen Z fans. Her debut album, “La Serenata,” was nominated at both the Latin GRAMMY©️ and 2021 GRAMMY©️. Lupita is currently promoting her newest album with Sony Music “Amor Como En Las Películas De Antes” (Love like in the movies of before). This production was inspired by Lupita’s admiration for the golden age of Mexican cinema, is an eclectic mix of new songs that honors both traditional and new Mariachi, breaking the generational barrier and making it distinctly her own all at once.
